Biometeorology

The International Society of Biometeorology (ISB) (2013) defines biometeorology as “An interdisciplinary science that considers the interactions between atmospheric processes and living organisms (plants, animals and humans).” The central question within the field is “how does weather and climate impact the well-being of all living creatures?” (ISB2013). Please refer to McGregor (2012) for the latest progress report on this field (at the time this glossary was
published).
